Heres an idea of what had just come out when I first became a fan.
I was a fan as Waracchaou yo Boyfriend had JUST came out. So I've welcomed 10 of Berryz releases.
Wakkyanai (Z) had just came out not too long before hand. So with C-ute I've welcomed 11.
Although Ambitious! Yashinteki de Ii jan had come out not long before the other groups songs, I didn't really become a Morning Musume fan right away. At least the more current gens. I was more into the Happy Summer Wedding Golden Years, than what was coming out. It did take me about 4-5 months, but I did fall in love with Aruiteru, and have loved Morning Musume ever since. Yay! I've welcomed 10 singles with them as well.
I fell in love with W so quickly as the first Hello Project group I ever looked up. I own all their singles and both their albums. The sad part, I fell in love with them during "The Suspension of Kago." So the were in limbo then.
Anyways, to end on a happy note.I try so hard not to love H!P but its such a guilty pleasure. I can never hate it.

So I went to the anime expo. the largest one in the united states of that genre. I live near Chicago, yet have never been to Anime Central. So when I found out Morning Musume was going to have their first official US Concert open the the public on the 1st day of the expo, I had to go. Although I decided to go to the Moi Dix Mois concert rather than the Morning Musume Q&A Panel (there were so many people!), I had been looking through the glass double doors, waiting for the group to enter through other doors on the opposite side of the room. What was amazing was when I was looking through one door, Morning Musume actually walked right past me. We were maybe 2-3 feet away from each other, I was so close then, that I could see Kusumi Koharu's mole on her chin, as well as clearly seeing Tanaka Reina's earrings, I also saw Takahashi Ai's beautiful dress. What I figure is that the close encounter will give me incentive to save money, and go see the group in Japan. That experience was really amazing for me. But who wouldn't find it amazing? Ya know?
I am going to Anime Expo 2009. Yay. I can't wait. um... yeah!
